Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral health. This role requires a strong understanding of general dentistry and excellent communication skills to ensure a positive experience for our patients.

Duties

• Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
• Assess patient oral health and document findings accurately.
• Provide education to patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
• Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Review medical histories and vital signs to ensure safe dental procedures.
• Utilize medical imaging techniques as needed to support diagnosis and treatment.
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress in Dentrix or similar software.
• Support pediatric dentistry practices with age-appropriate care techniques.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

• Proficiency in general dentistry practices, including dental assisting.
• Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care.
• Strong patient care skills, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout procedures.
• Experience with documentation review to maintain accurate patient records.
• Knowledge of vital signs assessment as part of the patient evaluation process.
• Understanding of medical imaging technologies used in dentistry.
• Previous experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
