Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Analyst to join our IT team. This role is crucial for the maintenance, support, and optimization of our ERP system and related infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in ERP systems, experience with integrations between ERP and other SaaS products, and a keen understanding of in-house developed applications. Additionally, the Systems Analyst will have a strong understanding of the ERP data model and will work closely with the data team to ensure accurate data integration into the data warehouse.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
ERP System Management:Oversee the operation, maintenance, and enhancement of the ERP system.Ensure system integrity, data accuracy, and system availability.Manage user access, security settings, and role assignments.Integration Management:
Understand and maintain integrations between the ERP system and various SaaS products.Collaborate with in-house development teams to ensure seamless integration with custom applications.Monitor integration performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.Infrastructure Support:
Maintain the underlying infrastructure supporting the ERP system.Participate in the planning and implementation of system upgrades and patches.Technical Support:
Provide technical support to end-users and resolve ERP-related issues.Conduct training sessions and create documentation for end-users to improve system utilization.Develop and maintain technical documentation related to the ERP system and its integrations.Data Model Understanding:
Gain a deep understanding of the ERP data model and its structure.Relay detailed information about the data model to the data team.Collaborate with the data team to ensure accurate and efficient data integration into the data warehouse.Project Management:
Lead and participate in ERP-related projects, including new implementations and system upgrades.Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver solutions on time and within budget.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or in a similar role.Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics). .Strong understanding of SaaS products and their integration with ERP systems.Proficiency in SQL and database management.Experience managing Windows servers.Experience with API integrations and data exchange formats (e.g., XML, JSON, EDI).Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.Highly Preferred skills but not mandatory :
Certifications in ERP systems or relevant technologies.Experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).Experience supporting eCommerce brands.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Works in an office setting. The ability to communicate orally with customers, vendors, management, and other co-workers is crucial. Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential. Sitting for extended periods is common. Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents.
Activities require the ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time, occasionally move about inside the office to access files or office equipment, operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, handheld devices, copy machine, and computer printer, and operate and monitor various equipment. Must be able to position self to maintain equipment, including under tables and desks.
No heavy lifting is expected; exertion of up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computers, phones, calculators, copiers, and fax machines.
