Integrated Business Systems Analyst

The Harbor Department, Information Technology Division is seeking an Integration Business Systems Analyst to assist in the migration of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to Oracle Cloud ERP.
Responsibilities• Participate and support Oracle Cloud ERP implementation project (e.g., requirements documentation, systems design, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution);• Organize and facilitate periodic stakeholders, status meeting, i.e., weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly meetings;• Work closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure project deadlines are met;• Participate, evaluate, and provide feedback in the analysis, design, development, configuration, documentation, testing, performance studies, and implementation of mission-critical processes, reports and integrations;• Act as the liaison between IT, stakeholders and the System Implementer;• Manage, troubleshoot, and resolve system related issues ensuring timely responses and delivery of high-quality solutions and customer service to end users;• Work with technical and functional teams to perform requirements gathering for reports, integrations and data conversion tasks;• Collaborate with colleagues to identify needs and make recommendations for continued process improvements, system enhancements and new applications to support business needs and operational efficiencies;• Help maintain data integrity by running queries, analyzing and validating data• Collaborate in the preparation of technical reports, diagrams, workflow maps, or other visual to facilitate enhanced system understanding;• Create and manage documentation, maintain records of system changes and incidents;• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information ensuring all necessary security measures are taken;• Create/design professional presentations for upper management, stakeholders, or steering committee according to supervisor's guidelines and work to conceptualize topics and present them clearly and concisely;• Organize and coordinate technical and functional trainings or testing events at specified times during the implementation, according to the project timeline, draft and support communication efforts as needed;• Perform related project administrative duties with IT staff, other divisions, and consultants; and• Participate in other projects or other duties as required.
Requirements• Two to five years of experience as an implementer or super user of Oracle EBS;• Oracle Cloud experience is desirable;• Experience in large scale project coordination and management;• Experience in creating standard reports and ad-hoc reports and queries;• Experience with integration to/from Oracle E-Business Suite and external systems;• Experience with report requirements gathering and/or development for Oracle E-Business Suite;• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Project, JIRA/Confluence, Office 365, PowerPoint, and SharePoint are highly preferred;• Ability to translate business requirements to technical specification for implementation and development;• Understanding concepts of data modeling and system configuration;• Strong organization and analytical skills;• Experience in user training, Organizational Change Management (OCM);• Ability to complete tasks with great care, completeness and attention to detail, review and check the accuracy of all work reports and presentations;• Effective written and verbal communication skills;• Ability to work well with a team and a fast paced environment; and• COVID-19 vaccination.
Hours and location:• 425 S. Palos Verdes Blvd, San Pedro, CA 90731;• Monday thru Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM (40 hours per week, some flexibility);• On-site work required for 2 days a week; and• Mandatory on-site for major project events/activities with 2 weeks advanced notice.
