DescriptionSAIC has an immediate opening for a Senior Contract Administrator/Principal to work in a team environment in our Corporate business unit. A TS/SCI and Poly are required since you will be supporting various customers in the IC. This position requires knowledge of the government contracts field and will conduct the preparation, negotiation, acceptance, and management of government contracts to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.In this role you will:Review contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements, and conformance to master agreements.Advise management of contractual rights and obligations and provide interpretation of terms and conditions.Represent organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects.Interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.Develop solutions to complex problems, which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives.Support commercial work as well as complex efforts including Firm Fixed Price (FFP) defined delivery efforts.Proposal preparation; negotiation and administration of various contracts to include Cost Reimbursable (CR), Time and Materials (T&M), Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and multiple Task Order contracts development; preparation, negotiation, and administration of teaming agreements and proprietary information agreements; collection and submission of data for regulatory reporting; and management of OCI Plans.QualificationsMust currently hold a TS/SCI and Poly Clearance.Bachelor’s Degree is desired but experience can be substituted for the degree.Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience.Cost proposal experience.Thorough understanding and wide application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards in contract administration.Full knowledge of industry practices.Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned contracts, including FAR, TINA and CAS.Experience in contract risk management and negotiation.Strong written correspondence skills.Ability to synthesize complex legal & contractual topics and communicate to internal (or external) collaborators with different backgrounds and disciplines.
