Our company is seeking an experienced Accountant for a Heavy Civil Construction Company to partner closely with the Company President. With a commitment to integrity and transparency, this role is vital to our ongoing success and financial health. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in Civil construction accounting and equipment management.
Ideal Profile:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related.5+ years of accounting experience, construction industry strongly preferred.Proficiency in Computer Ease software is a big plus.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all controllership responsibilities, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reportingAllocate equipment job costs accurately to support project budgeting and financial trackingPrepare and submit monthly sales tax reports in compliance with regulationsLead forecasting and budgeting efforts, providing strategic insights to support company growthHandle full cycle accounting tasks, including GL, journal entries, month-end close, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and preparation of financial statementsMaintain relationships with CPA firm, banking institutions, and insurance providersCommunicate effectively and efficiently across all levels of the organization, ensuring timely and transparent information flowQualifications:
Strong analytical and organizational skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalHigh level of integrity and professionalism
