TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Stockbridge, Georgia, 30281 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum 2 years; First-time travelers not accepted License: GA or Compact license must be in hand Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH/NIHSS Must-Have: Two supervisory references preferred Job Description: - Care for adult to geriatric patient population - Manage and titrate drips, including amiodarone, Cardizem, Precedex, Cardene, labetalol, dopamine, dobutamine, insulin, and Nitro - Utilize equipment such as Glucommander, Trach to Vents, Bipaps, High flows, salters, Art lines, and bedside cardiac monitors - Facilitate rapid sequence intubation and manage patients on sedation and ETTs - Handle low dose pressors in ICU overflow situations if needed - Patient diagnoses include, but are not limited to, COVID, Respiratory Failure, DKA, Renal Failure, Hypertension Emergency, CHF, post carotid endarterectomy, post-surgical patients requiring close observation, Sepsis, and Stroke - Dialysis performed bedside by a dialysis nurse - Ratio/Census: 1:4; 16 Beds with average daily census of 16 - Use of systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR - Scrub Color: Navy Blue - RTO: Maximum 7 days; work expected during holidays if they fall within the assignment period - Must be available to complete core items and schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract for an on-time start 26154607EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Working with diverse teams in various settings enhances your communication skills.
