**Job Description:**
- Work in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at a Level II Trauma Center.- Manage patient care with a team approach in a high-stakes environment.- Handle patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3, depending on patient needs.- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.- Adhere to hospital protocols and procedures.- Complete 40 hours of non-billable orientation hours.- Complete required modules pre-start and annually.- Work required 4 weekend shifts in a 6-week period.- Use Epic for charting and patient records.- Comply with vaccine mandates while considering exemptions as applicable.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.- Experience in a Teaching Hospital setting preferred.
**Additional Information:**
Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities. Compliance deadlines are typically set for the Monday before the assignment starts. Completion of pre-assignment modules is essential for orientation, with an average of 16 hours spent on them. This position operates within a 50-mile local radius policy. References need to cover employment within the last three years in comparable specialties/settings.
