QA Analyst

Job Summary
The QA tester is responsible for the creation of test scripts/cases for use in QA testing of Judiciary applications. This resource will also test applications, document issues found, and communicate with internal business and IT teams to resolve issues.
Note:
Hybrid Role - 2 Days Onsite with team - Monday and Tuesday.
Key Responsibilities
• Participate in reviews, walkthroughs, or inspections.
• Assist with helpdesk tickets to resolve user-reported issues.
• Execute tests on software usability.
• Analyze test results and report errors or bugs.
• Prepare reports on all aspects related to the QA software testing carried out and report to the business and development teams.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in QA software testing.
• Up-to-date knowledge of QA software test design and testing methodologies.
• Develop and document application Test Plans based on business requirements and technical specifications.
• Reviewing Business requirements and preparing test scenarios.
• Working knowledge of various types of software testing.
• Experience in Quality Center and any agile methodology tool is required.
• UFT automation tool experience is required.
• Extensive experience with the use of Microsoft Office products is required.
Preferred Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience working closely with development teams and business teams.
• 5+ years of experience with Scrum Agile methodology, writing, and running test scripts.
• 5+ years of experience in unit testing, functional testing, system testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
• UFT automation experience is highly desired.
• PEGA testing experience and Mainframe experience are a plus.
• SQL, PEGA, and mainframe experience is a plus.
Certifications
• Relevant certifications are a plus.
Skills and Knowledge
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Good organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Versatile and flexible to work on multiple projects at the same time.
• Ability to learn multiple complex systems and work with a team of business analysts under the supervision of the project lead and/or lead business analyst on multiple projects.
• Good communication skills to work well with the business team and technical teams.
