This role will be based out of our Injection Molding plant located in Pineville, NC. The successful candidate will be able to operate machine shop equipment for the purposes of supporting successful product production. These activities are to be conducted while ensuring and maximizing safety, product quality, production output, housekeeping, and cost control to achieve plant goals.Position offers: Full-Time, Permanent Position with Comprehensive Benefits + reimbursement of COBRA costs while transitioning to IPEX benefits 12 paid holidays every calendar year Plant annual bonus program 12-hour shift schedule (4 on 4 off; 84 hours bi-weekly) with bi-weekly pay Relocation may be available Requirements Manufacture new mold components and complete repairs and modifications to existing molds and tooling. Troubleshoot mold operational problems, determine corrective actions and implement those actions. Actively participate in the 5S, SAFE and continuous improvement programs and continuous participation in all facility waste management and environmentally related programs and training. Technical understanding of production planning techniques, basic understanding of quality management standards, lean manufacturing and safety requirements/laws (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, 5S, etc.). Intermediate to advanced knowledge of mold making, production, setup and plastic injection molding. Knowledge and Experience Minimum 18 years of age. Able to coordinate and prioritize multiple responsibilities at the same time. Able to optimally communicate with all levels of the organization. Knowledge of all machine functions in the molding shop. General skills for use of various measuring tools. Knowledge of CAM programs (EdgeCAM) and CNC machining practices in a shop environment. Basic trigonometry skills for measuring cuts, compounding and deciphering angles, and other math related requirements. Advanced mechanical proficiency. Intermediate CNC machining knowledge. Strong time management and organization skills and able to deal with varying levels of complexity. Able to work independently with minimal direction. State/Federal approved Mold Maker or Tool & Die Journeyman's Card is an asset. Must have the ability to read, write and do advanced mathematics. Must be licensed to operate forklift truck, pallet truck and other material handling equipment and able to use basic hand tools. Have an understanding of all procedures and instructions as required by ANSI/ASQC A9002. Successful candidate must successfully complete a drug screen, physical, and background check.
