A leading accounting firm specializing in the construction industry is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team in Denver, CO! This is a fully remote opportunity where you will be in a high-touch, client-facing role where you will be providing a white glove service to a wide range of construction clients from small, family-owned businesses to mid-sized companies. You will manage the day-to-day accounting functions for multiple clients, ensuring they receive top-tier service tailored to their unique needs. Salary Range:
$75,000 - $90,000 / year DOE
Senior Accountant Requirements:
6+ years of full-cycle Accounting and reportingBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred2+ years of construction accounting experience is requiredQuickBooks Online proficiencyStrong understanding of Accrual based and GAAP accountingTech-savvy with the ability to work remotely and adapt to new technologiesExcellent client-facing and communication skillsSenior Accountant Responsibilities:
Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)Perform month-end close procedures and prepare journal entriesPre-paid accruals and accrued liabilitiesPrepare financial statements and reconcile balance sheet accountsFixed assets and depreciation schedulesEnsure compliance with GAAP accounting standardsConduct Work-in-Progress (WIP) reportingRun payroll, support audits, including insurance and general liability auditsPrepare workers compensation reportsAddress ad hoc requests from clientsProvide a high-touch, white-glove service to anywhere between 5-8 clients, ensuring excellent customer service and communicationSenior Accountant
