SUMMARY
The Account Supervisor, Strategy, is a creative problem solver and critical thinker, responsible for developing comprehensive strategies that drive growth and customer engagement in our advertising programs. This analytical role requires a deep understanding of market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscapes to create data-driven recommendations across various channels, including digital, social media, content, traditional media, and creative.
As an experienced professional, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams-such as creative, channel, program solution owners, and sales-to ensure marketing initiatives align with the client's objectives and resonate with target audiences.
Ideal candidates are innovative and analytical, capable of identifying new opportunities to evolve advertising programs. This client-facing role demands a strong understanding of the marketing ecosystem, storytelling skills, and the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable strategies that deliver measurable results.

Key Outcome:
Supports creation of strategic marketing solutions that align with client business goals
Key Responsibilities:
Develops and articulates comprehensive strategies for programs that support overall business objectives.Defines program goals, objectives, and key performance indicators to measure success.Works cross-functionally to design program components, including initiatives, activities, and deliverables, to achieve desired outcomes.Actively participates and engages with clients to understand business needs that can be supported with marketing program opportunities.Conducts need assessments and market research to identify opportunities and gaps to support program enhancement.Works closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales, channel and creative, to ensure cohesive and effective strategy execution.Understands, aligns and drives creative strategy in support of program performance.Key Outcome:
Ensures marketing solutions remain relevant and effective by staying informed about current trends and industry developments.
Key Responsibilities:
Accountable to maintaining evergreen knowledge of landscape evolution, translating "where the communications/media is going' to how that impacts client and program strategy.Stay updated with the latest marketing trends, tools and technologies to enhance program offerings and provide innovative solutions.Share relevant trends, insights, and best practices with internal teams to foster a culture of continuous learning.Provide recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders based on trend analysis and market research.Suggests new strategies or adjustments based on emerging trends and client needs.Provides POV and action plans to address new ideas in the market.Key Outcome:
Provides meaningful insights to distributed reporting that connects to program goals and KPIs, highlighting strengths while identifying opportunities for enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data to draw meaningful conclusions.Build actionable insights based on program reporting.Track and analyze program performance against established KPIs and objectives.Evaluate program effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.Work cross-functionally to prepare and present program reports, status updates, and performance evaluations.Analyze gaps in performance and suggest actionable recommendations for addressing these opportunities.Other Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
6+ years of experience in a strategic facing marketing role, preferably in an agency setting.Bachelor's degree in communications, media, marketing, sales, or related field.A combination of education and experience will be considered.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to derive insights from data and make data-driven recommendations.Strong understanding of data available from various syndicated research tools (e.g. competitive intel, audience insights, etc.).Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Strong presentation skills and ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.Strong understanding of the Marketing Ecosystem and its components inclusive of both online and offline channels.Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel (including pivot tables), and PowerPoint.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working in an agency setting.Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, collaborating cross-functionally with other teams, as required.Strong presentation and public speaking skills.Familiarity with Google Documents and Power BI preferred.CORE COMPETENCIES

COMPENSATION
Butler/Till is committed to providing pay transparency of our compensation philosophy and ensuring equitable pay practices for our employee owners. The compensation range for this position is $61,000 - $86,000 and represents the annual salary range in Rochester, NY. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience.
This is just one component of Butler/Till's total compensation package for employee owners. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including ESOP (employee stock ownership plan), an annual bonus, in addition to a full benefits package, and paid time off benefits, including 100% paid parental leave. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
