Production Assistant

**Hiring Production Assistants!****$18-20****Job Description**This individual will be in charge of unpackaging parts (orders can range from 2-2,000+ since they're a job shop). After unpacking the parts, they will then be responsible for racking them. Racking the fixtures is similar to hanging ornaments on a tree - they will pinch the spring clip (which is a heavy-duty metal clip) to hang the fixture on the rack. The clip itself isn't physically heavy, but it is metal, and a strong grip is required to pinch the spring clips together and release the chop to hang the components. This individual needs to have good grip strength to ensure the clip does not scratch the fixture they are racking. This role may involve racking for up to 10 hours a day. The candidate should be a self-motivated individual looking for a long-term opportunity to grow with the company.Training will be provided by a full-time employee.**Hard Skills**+ Attention to detail+ Manufacturing experience**Soft Skills**+ Self-motivation+ Strong grip strength**Work Site**This is a fully on-site position in Saint Paul, Minnesota.**Work Environment**• Regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, and/or feel.• Frequently required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.• Must be able to talk and/or hear regularly when completing the job.• Occasionally required to climb or balance.• Must regularly lift and move up to 10 lbs, occasionally lift and/or move 25 lbs, and at times lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.The warehouse is 80,000 sq ft and full of anodizing tanks. The facility has concrete floors but no steel toes are required. The facility is well ventilated, and the smells are barely noticeable.
