Weekends (1:6 or 1:7)Responsibilities:
The Pediatrician will:Monitor children's growth, development, and overall health through regular check-ups and well-child visitsProvide vaccinations and immunizations to protect children from various diseases, following recommended schedules and guidelinesDiagnose and treat various illnesses and medical conditions affecting childrenAssess and monitor a child's physical, cognitive, and behavioral development, identifying potential delays or concernsAddress behavioral and mental health issues in childrenProvide immediate care for children in emergency situations, stabilizing and treating injuries and acute medical conditionsManage chronic health conditions in children, coordinating care and treatment plansConduct various screenings and tests, including vision and hearing tests, blood tests, and developmental assessments, to ensure early detection of any potential health issuesMaintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient, documenting health assessments, treatments, and recommendationsPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of ConnecticutBoard Certified in PediatricsYour privacy is important to us.
