Apply today and become a key part of our innovative team General Purpose: As a Telecom Analyst, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide array of telecommunication systems, including legacy telephony, IP telephony systems, analog systems, Nurse Call, Vocera, recorded lines, public address systems, wireless cellular phones, 2-way radio systems, infrastructure cabling, and all associated equipment. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and ensure the reliable, uninterrupted performance of telephony systems including Nortel CS1000, Vocera, and Cisco IP Desk Phones. Serve as a backup for the Telecom System Engineer by diagnosing and resolving issues with ACD systems and performing preventive maintenance and annual audits on telephony systems. Manage all adds, moves, and changes for extensions, mobile phones, and hotspots, ensuring seamless call routing, voicemail setup, and system configurations. Administer telecommunications and data cabling installations, ensuring clear labeling, proper terminations, and up-to-date documentation. Act as a system administrator for Vocera and Nortel CS1000 systems. Perform voice circuit testing and turn-ups, troubleshoot issues, and order necessary replacement parts for timely onsite repairs. Share technical knowledge and provide guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Stay updated on the latest telecommunications technologies to ensure the most effective use of core systems. Maintain Nurse Call systems, conduct routine preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with corporate integrity and ethical guidelines in all business practices. Maintain inventory and stockroom of backup equipment, and handle shipping and receiving processes efficiently. Manage repair tickets and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with participation in the team's on-call rotation. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High school diploma required; college or technical school certification preferred. 2-3 years of hands-on experience with telephony systems such as Cisco Call Manager, Vocera, Amtelco, and Genesys. Strong knowledge in the installation and maintenance of telecommunication systems, infrastructure cabling, and telephony software. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues quickly and effectively. Excellent communication and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and reduce equipment downtime.
