Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and internal audit conceptsExcellent leadership skills with experience managing complex programsStrong interpersonal, oral, and written communication abilitiesProficiency in data analytics and experience with audit testing toolsStrategic risk assessment and problem-solving skillsProven ability to build relationships with senior leadersKnowledge of operational finance and contract accountingKey Job Responsibilities:

Lead the planning and execution of the global SOX 404 program, collaborating with external auditors to optimize program efficiency.Interpret regulatory changes and organizational shifts, adapting the SOX program structure and scope accordingly.Report SOX program results, audit observations, and recommendations to senior management.Develop key relationships with process owners and senior management to enhance the control environment.Conduct operational audits with a focus on aligning with Air Products' strategic objectives.Ensure timely remediation of control deficiencies and track management action plans.Identify and implement data analytics tools for testing and gaining business insights.Lead, mentor, and develop the Internal Audit team, promoting a culture of risk assessment and control.Minimum Hiring Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in SOX compliance, internal audit, or a related field.Leadership experience in complex program management.Professional certifications such as CPA, CFE, or CIA are highly preferred.Strong operational finance experience and understanding of business process management.Experience with data analytics and audit-related tools.Prior experience in public accounting and internal audit.

Work Hours:

This role offers a flexible work schedule with a hybrid working environment. While based at our corporate headquarters, you'll have opportunities to work remotely and collaborate with cross-functional teams globally. Minimal travel may be required for special projects and audits.
