Konag Data Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Web Developer with a Secret clearance to support KDS and our government customer in Fort McNair Washington, DC.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Designing and developing user interface features, site animation, and special-effects elements.
Supports History.Army.Mil (CMH Public Facing Website) and Social Media Platforms; document, implement, maintain, and integrate the Government selected/provided test information or content to History.Army.Mil and Social Media Platforms
Contributes to design guidelines, enforce site content standards, and contributes to the design group’s efforts to enhance the look and feel of the organization’s online public facing website and offerings.
Designs the website to support the organization’s strategies, goals, and branding relative to client’s external communications.
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Current active Secret Security Clearance
Possess at least 5 years of documented proven experience in Web Design and Development.
Requires understanding of web-based technologies and thorough knowledge of Website content management, HTML, WordPress, photoshop, and/or other design-related applications.
Develops, codes, tests, and debugs new software and enhancements to existing web software.
Familiarization with remediation of 508 compliance issues
Familiarization with the Defense Visual Information Distribution Service (DIVDS)
Familiarization with the American Forces Public Information Management Systems (AFPIMS)
Use data analytics in making design decisions and maintain a database of design assets.
Competent to work on fairly complex programs with guidance.
Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism through written and verbal communication when presenting products and briefs to senior level management and stakeholders within the CMH.
Have ability to interpret business objectives and successfully incorporate those objectives.
Be physically located onsite at Fort McNair as required by the client. Some days may be remote.
Shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; educates others on the value of diversity; promotes a harassment-free environment; supports a diverse workforce.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information technology, or engineering, web design, and SW development related field of study.
Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
