Job Description
NexPoint is seeking a highly skilled Web Developer with expertise in WordPress and SharePoint, focusing on site architecture, structural design, taxonomy, security, integration, and interoperability. This is a technical role centered around managing and optimizing enterprise web platforms, responsible for architecting, managing and integrating Wordpress and Sharepoint.Familiarity with Salesforce and tableau from an integration perspective desirable.
The ideal candidate will have experience in API integrations, workflow automation, authentication protocols, and security best practices as it relates to the aforementioned platforms, along with a strong ability to integrate and synchronize enterprise applications to support business processes and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
WordPress Development & Management
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable WordPress environments with a focus on performance and interoperability.
- Manage 3rd party themes, plugins, and APIs to support integrations and advanced functionality.
- Implement and manage user roles, permissions, and security best practices.
- Optimize WordPress caching, performance tuning, and SEO strategies.
- Automate deployments and updates using CI/CD pipelines and cloud hosting solutions.
SharePoint Development & Administration
- Design and implement SharePoint Online site structures, taxonomy, metadata management, and governance policies.
- Develop custom solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, and SPFx to improve business workflows.
- Integrate SharePoint with other business applications, including Salesforce and Tableau, to streamline data access and workflows.
- Work with the IT infrastructure department to ensure proper governance and compliance measures for document storage and collaboration.
- Optimize content migration and synchronization between SharePoint, WordPress, and external platforms.
Salesforce & Tableau Integration
- Integrate Salesforce with SharePoint and WordPress, ensuring a seamless flow of customer data, documents, and business insights.
- Develop and manage custom Salesforce APIs and webhooks to push and pull data between systems.
- Ensure proper authentication and role-based access for Salesforce data in WordPress and SharePoint.
- Implement real-time synchronization between Salesforce objects and SharePoint libraries for improved collaboration.
- Embed and integrate Tableau dashboards within WordPress and SharePoint to provide interactive, real-time business intelligence.
- Automate data ingestion from multiple sources (SharePoint, WordPress, Salesforce) into Tableau for reporting and analytics.
Security, Compliance & Maintenance
- Have a clear understanding of data governance policies ensuring compliance with corporate and industry standards.
Integration & Automation
- Utilize 3rd party APIs and middleware solutions to facilitate seamless integration between WordPress, SharePoint, Salesforce, and Tableau.
- Leverage Microsoft Graph API, REST APIs, SOAP, and webhooks to enable system interoperability.
- Automate business workflows across platforms using Power Automate or other automation tools.
Troubleshooting & Support
- Serve as the primary technical contact for diagnosing and resolving integration and interoperability issues.
- Provide documentation, training, and support to internal teams on best practices for using integrated platforms
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in WordPress, SharePoint development, administration, and integration.
- Experience integrating Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) with SharePoint, WordPress, and Tableau desirable.
- Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PowerShell.
- Experience with Microsoft Graph API, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), and Power Platform.
- Familiarity of OAuth, SAML, SSO, and IAM solutions for secure authentication across platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively across IT, business, and analytics teams to deliver seamless solutions.
Preferred Certifications (Nice to Have):
- Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer
- Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder or Administrator
- Tableau Desktop Specialist / Tableau Server Associate
- Azure Cloud Certifications
