Diodes Incorporated is seeking a Process Engineering Intern in the South Portland, ME Facility This intern will join the technical team responsible for high volume silicon wafer fabrication processes and will work with FAB process engineers supporting daily wafer production and development engineering activities. The engineering intern will be assigned meaningful projects which may include die yield enhancement, cost reduction, process module characterization, and unit process improvements. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Design, characterize, and implement the manufacturing processes required for high performance analog integrated circuits. Assist engineers to Improve processes and procedures, through robust SPC, DoE, 8D, 6 Sigma or other structured techniques to show benefits in product efficiency and quality. Handle wafers and operate metrology systems including SEM, profilometers, reflectometers, and ellipsometers for data collection Analyze, summarize, and present data. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher, typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with a cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment Ability to take the initiative and drive for results Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) Ability and willingness to work in a cleanroom semiconductor manufacturing environment Diodes Incorporated (Nasdaq: DIOD), a Standard and Poor's SmallCap 600 and Russell 3000 Index company, is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of high-quality application specific standard products within the broad discrete, logic, and analog semiconductor markets.
