Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington seeks a highly accurate Data Specialist who shares our vision of helping Girl Scouts change the world. What You'll Do As the Data Specialist, you'll be responsible for supporting data integrity and reporting. In this role, you'll build events in various systems and support staff use of these systems. You'll also process volunteer background checks and support administrative volunteers in the use of data. You'll be responsible for timely, accurate, and professional customer service to Girl Scouts members. Responsibilities Process volunteer background checks. Build overnight camp, events, and trainings. Process payments for camp, events, training, and membership. Process cancellations and refunds for camp, events, training, community pathways, and membership. Verify membership, background checks, and training for camp participants. Provide data support for various departments. Update volunteer training records with their attendance. Review and update data to ensure data integrity and quality. Provide Google Sheets and Excel support for multiple departments. Create, update, and run reports for staff and volunteers in multiple systems. Update and maintain staff training in gsLearn for systems such as Salesforce. Act as the liaison for the service unit data specialist. Conduct new hire and follow-up staff training in Salesforce and Looker. Manage customer data privacy requests. Process duplicate records. Attend various systems-focused webinars. Act as tier 2 Salesforce support for staff. Respond in a timely fashion to customer inquiries via email, phone, or text. Previous experience in administrative support and/or customer service. Experience working with customer relations management software such as Salesforce is highly preferred. Detail-oriented, with strong accuracy and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/365. Highly accurate data entry and typing skills. Effective time management, able to manage and organize multiple projects with competing and shifting deadlines, able to assess and assign priority to daily tasks and long-term projects. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively and professionally by phone, email, and in person. Strong written communication skills, with the ability to edit work for spelling and grammar and read and interpret written information. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evening or weekend event support. Preferred: Bilingual English/Spanish. Work Conditions & Physical Requirements: Indoor environment - 98% Outdoor events - 10% Travel to other locations - 15% Use of computer, phone, and other office equipment - 100% Lifting up to 25 pounds - 5% Pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds - 5% Reaching above and below shoulder level - 5% The Details Compensation - Nonexempt/hourly, starting at $23.44 to $28.12 per hour, depending on qualifications. Plus, $1.25 per hour for Spanish language skills at a conversational level or higher. Benefits - We offer health, dental, life insurance, paid time off, and paid holidays. Occasional event attendance, including weekends and evenings. Location - Regular job duties can be performed remotely if you meet internet connectivity standards, in any of our Service Centers throughout Oregon, or a hybrid setting, based on your preference. You must live in Oregon or Southwest Washington. This role also required occasional travel, including overnight and long-distance travel. All staff are required to participate in in-person meetings, events, work assignments, and retreats, the frequency and location of which is determined by business needs.
