What You'll Do
As a Senior Software Integration and Test Engineer, you will:Lead the integration of hardware modules into sophisticated combat vehicle systems.Work across Linux and Windows environments to integrate and test software.Use your networking and cybersecurity expertise to harden systems and perform scans.Troubleshoot issues, develop solutions, and ensure the highest level of software performance and security.Guide and mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and helping them grow in their careers.Collaborate with diverse teams, including Mechanical, Electrical, and Systems Engineers, to achieve mission-critical objectives.Ensure that our projects meet or exceed customer expectations by adhering to technical, performance, and quality requirements.What You'll Bring
Technical Expertise : Extensive experience integrating and testing software on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows 10/11.Problem-Solving Skills : The ability to build, maintain, and troubleshoot complex software/hardware integration testbeds.Leadership Abilities : Experience mentoring junior engineers and guiding project development.Collaboration : Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across multiple engineering disciplines.Technical Tools : Proficiency with Git, Jira, GitLab, and other configuration management tools.Customer Focus : Ability to maintain effective customer relationships and resolve technical issues promptly.Key Skills and Experience
Required :Minimum of 4 years in software integration and testing.Familiarity with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows OS.Strong experience with RPMs, DLLs, shared objects, and static libraries.Proficiency with scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python) and cybersecurity tools (Nessus, Coverity).Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.Preferred :Experience with UML modeling tools, Qt Framework, and C/C++ programming.Familiarity with military and commercial design standards.Knowledge of combat vehicle systems, particularly M88 functionality.Proficiency in VxWorks development and architectural-level design.Preferred Skills
Experience in system hardening and applying STIG rules.Familiarity with Ethernet-based protocols (SSL/TLS, SSH, SFTP).Understanding of embedded systems, virtualization, and cybersecurity protocols.Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
