What You Will Be Doing:
Move glass from, tables, furnace, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours, dailyTransport of materials including glass from one position/location to another to expedite the production processRead and attach appropriate labels and tags to productQuality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipmentUnderstand layout of the facility to ensure proper product flowPerform different job functions on a rotating basisInspect product for any abnormalities and notifying supervisor immediately of any issues (fabrication issues, logo placement, etc.)Utilize a tape measure to ensure product is within the product specificationsMaintain a safe and clean work areaRegular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job
Skills You Bring:
Must be at least 18 years oldAbility to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labelsAbility to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measureAll production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of productionFlexible work availability (typically Monday through Friday with occasional weekends)High School Diploma or GED, preferredOne year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility, preferredForklift experience a plusOverhead crane experience a plus
