Quality Assurance Consultant IV

Akkodis is seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant IV for a Contract job with a client in Newark, DE (Hybrid). Ideally looking experienced Middleware Tester with at least 3 years in Middleware Testing to ensure software quality in a fast-paced, techno-functional role. Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Quality Assurance Consultant IV job responsibilities include: Designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies and plans to ensure software quality and compliance with specifications. Leading testing efforts for complex projects, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to identify testing requirements and clarify specifications. Creating and maintaining automated test scripts using advanced coding methods and automation tools like Selenium, TOSCA, or similar frameworks. Analyzing test results, identifying defects, and working closely with development teams to resolve issues. Ensuring adherence to QA best practices and continuous integration processes, using tools like Jenkins or Git for version control and deployment. Conducting reviews of test plans, test cases, and automation scripts to ensure thorough coverage and optimal testing efficiency. Reporting on testing progress, providing detailed documentation of test results and generating reports using tools like JIRA or ALM. Staying up to date with emerging QA technologies and methodologies to enhance testing practices and improve software quality. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on test automation and software testing. Proven expertise in creating and executing comprehensive test strategies for complex projects.
