IT Business Analyst

Job Description An employer is seeking an IT Business Analyst to join their team remotely aligned to Eastern Standard Time. This is open because a state agency is going to move away from their current loan management software, Nortridge, and are looking to implement a new system. This system is utilized by the agency to manage fundings for housing grants. This IT Business Analyst will be responsible for doing a deep dive into the current system Nortridge and work with the business users and stakeholders to understand how the software is being leverages and in what capacity. They will need to do a deep analysis and gather requirements to understand the current state so they are equipped to make a recommendation on a new loan management software the agency should implement and move to. On a day to day basis this person will work with the technical staff and business stakeholders to coordinate the efforts around decommissioning Nortridge and implementing a new solution. They will be responsible for gathering the business requirements and creating the necessary documentation for a new software solution. The IT Business Analyst will need to thoroughly understand the current business needs around Nortridge so they can make an informed recommendation on which other loan management software will meet the agency's needs. This person must have strong proactive communication skills, high attention to detail, and be self-motivated.
