Description
Markon is seeking a Database Administrator to support one of our Intelligence Customers.
Responsibilities
Assist in the initial installation, configuration, and deployment of a new PeopleSoft HCM implementation.Provide support for database definition, design, structure, documentation, upgrades, long-range requirements, operational guidelines, and protection.Support database application integration.Maintain database support tools, database tables and dictionaries.Perform database recovery and back-up procedures.Provide recommendations regarding enhancements and/or improvements to database environment.Work collaboratively with customers, business analysts, developers, system testers, and end-users in a fast-paced, agile environment.Qualifications
Required Skills:
An Active TS/SCI Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience (3+ years in lieu).Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (multiple experience levels available).Experience administering Oracle databases.Ability to perform all database administrative functions, including upgrades, patching applications and performance tuning.Desired Skills:
Experience supporting enterprise-scale databases (thousands of concurrent users, thousands of tables).Experience working in an AWS environment.
Salary Range
USD $130,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
