Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for a Guidewire PolicyCenter - Business Analyst to join the team of IT professionals in a role. If you meet our background requirements and skills and are in search of an opportunity with these skills and expertise, here is the opportunity for you Responsibilities: Conduct pre-Inception & Inception workshops to define strategic value maps, product roadmap and feature list for Guidewire product in alignment with Guidewire best practices and guiding principles. Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business solutions and business requirements. Analyzes, identifies, and writes detailed description of user requirements, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify Guidewire product. Lead Guidewire Initiatives that includes projects, improvements, maintenance and regulatory changes as a Business Analyst. Presents recommendations for business process improvements with a detailed understanding of business problems and solutions in relation to customer needs. Acts as a liaison between business and IT. Act to resolve issues which prevent the team working effectively. Develops and maintains knowledge of customer's business. Exhibits strong business knowledge and builds strong customer relationships. Required Qualifications Experience working as an IT Lead Business Analyst in Guidewire PolicyCenter defining requirements for User Interfaces, application logic & integration mechanisms with sound knowledge of out of the box features and data model. Property and casualty insurance knowledge in personal, commercial, and specialty product offerings, product model and policy administration processes. Experience in driving Inception workshops, defining product backlog & roadmap, sprint planning and handling scope, dependency & risks. Experience in requirement elicitation, gap analysis, process modelling, requirement management, driving UAT, defining implementation and data migration plans, product support and user training. Experience defining business Requirements, functional & non-functional requirements, integration requirements, service specifications, data mapping, requirement management plan, User manuals, Standard Operating Procedures. Experience collaborating with customers - Leading and coordinating projects, ensuring strong customer relationships, addressing recommendations and resolving issues with collaborators. Agile Scrum development methodology experience using Agile Management Tool such as Rally, Octane, JIRA. Preferred: Guidewire Business Analyst Certifications. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for the position is between $66,896 - $132,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
