Informatica DeveloperHybrid Schedule/Partial Remote: Candidate must be willing to work in the office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in one of the following locations: Alpharetta, GA; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Colorado Springs, CO; Conshohocken, PA; Dallas, TX; Florham Park, NJ; Jacksonville, IL; Lenexa, KS; Lubbock, TX; Mt Juliet, TN; New Hyde Park, NY; New York, NY; Purchase, NY; Topeka, KSThe Informatica Developer will be primarily responsible for developing and supporting ETL code in Informatica PowerCenter for an enterprise data warehouse.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop new ETL and enhancements and modify existing code using Informatica PowerCenter. Work independently to develop, configure, and unit test programs from specs (source to target mappings)Work closely with data architects, reporting team and application team on ETL development effortsDesign and document ETL solutions for projects, estimate work effort and provide status of tasksProvide technical support for the administration and production support of InformaticaProvide first and second level troubleshooting, and baseline and operational supportAdhere to best practices and methodologies for ETL development teamPresent all work in design and code review sessions to senior team membersPrepare documents that describe, and support code developedIdentify improvements to the data warehouse environment. Work with the team to implement these solutionsEscalate issues to the right party when requiredExcellent analytical, organization, presentation, and facilitation skills; ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlinesWorking knowledge of Kimball design methodologyKnowledge of testing tools and techniquesWindow environment experienceQuery Surge experience
REQUIRED TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS (in order of level of need)
5+ years of hands-on experience in ETL development for a data warehouse5+ years of hands-on experience in development, maintenance, and enhancements of Informatica Mappings, Workflows, and processesExpertise with integration technologies and processesExperience working with complex SQL
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field, or equivalent experience
