The ideal candidate will have expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and experience in ETL development for financial data environments. This role involves designing and implementing data pipelines to support critical banking processes, ensuring data integrity, performance optimization, and compliance with industry regulations.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement efficient ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter, specifically for credit card and banking systems.Create and maintain ETL mappings, sessions, and workflows to extract, transform, and load data from various financial data sources.Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to understand and fulfill business requirements in the context of banking and credit card systems.Perform data quality checks, data validation, and troubleshooting of ETL processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.Develop solutions to integrate and transform large volumes of data from banking systems, credit card transaction databases, and other financial platforms.Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability, considering the complexities of financial data.Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and ETL performance issues, ensuring the availability of critical financial data for reporting and analysis.Work closely with data governance teams to ensure that the data used in financial reporting meets compliance and security standards.Document all ETL processes and workflows to ensure they align with auditing and regulatory requirements .Required Skills and Qualifications:7 years of hands-on experience in ETL development using Informatica PowerCenter in banking/credit card environments.Individual with experience in Mainframe/AS400 as a source system to enhance data integration and reporting processes.Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or similar.Experience with credit card transaction data, banking systems, and financial data models.Familiarity with data governance, data security standards, and regulatory compliance in the banking/credit card industry.Experience in integrating data from multiple financial sources such as transaction logs, payment systems, and customer information systems.Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies in a financial services setting.Proficiency in ETL performance tuning and troubleshooting in high-volume financial data environments.
