Lockheed Martin is seeking a Software Quality Engineer for a position in Orlando, FL to develop and maintain Systems and Software Quality Engineering common processes that are aligned with AS9100 Quality Management System, Program and Customer requirements.
What You Will Be DoingResponsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Develops, modifies, and applies quality principles to the development and use of software and software-based systems for make and/or buy software productsDevelops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectivesDesigns and implements software development and maintenance processesDefines audit strategy to ensure compliance to systems/software processesDesigns, specifies, and conducts test methods for software inspection, verification, and validationEvaluates and analyzes software quality systems for deficiency identification and correctionEnsures measures meet acceptable reliability standardsPerforms software product reviews against contractual, technical and/or process requirementsReviews requirement specifications, design documents, source code, test plans and procedures, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologiesPerforms or directs verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability.Travel may be required to support program activities.

The selected candidate must have a secret clearance.Basic Qualifications:Stem degree at the bachelors level or higher, preferably in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering
Must have a Secret clearance
Experience with product development phases
Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Demonstrated basic understanding of audit techniquesSoftware Quality or Engineering experience in Requirements Analysis, Design/Development, Product Integration and Test
Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex
Ability to interpret software design and code (C/C++) to verify implementation of requirements
Hands-on experience with Agile Methodologies(SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
Lab/Test Equipment Hardware knowledge or background skills
Effective Communication Skills: Written, Oral, Listening, Presentation, Technical Writing
Ability to TravelDesired Skills:Familiar with the Atlassian Suite of tools (lira,Confluence, etc.) and Gitlab.
Familiar with automated test system platforms(NI TestStand, NI LabVIEW, SystemLink).
Basic understanding of electro-mechanicalengineering drawings and GeometricDimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) with theability to inspect drawings for compliance.
Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt)
Effective interpersonal skills, including Team building and Collaboration
