We are seeking a talented Full Stack Software Developer to support the continued development and program roll out of the Advanced Rapid Integration Simulation Environment (ARISE) Analytics platform.What You Will Be DoingThis role will be hybrid (see work location section for details). The ARISE Analytics - Applications team is seeking a full-stack software engineer with demonstrated experience designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-first web applications. To succeed, the candidate must have a broad skillset that spans both UX design and backend development, as their responsibilities call for complete end-to-end development of the web application's features: from defining requirements to testing and deployment.The candidate is expected to be proficient in Python and JavaScript. It is desirable that the candidate have experience designing and implementing scalable, high-availability applications. The ARISE Analytics team works closely with A/AI Research engineers, so a working understanding of Machine Learning principles is desirable.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (AAS degree with equivalent experience).Application/front-end development experience.Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.Strong knowledge of front-end design patterns optimized for web.Experience with back-end technologies (Django, Node.js).Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows.Database expertise (MongoDB, SQL, or similar).Ability to obtain a secret security clearance and therefore must be US Citizen.Desired Skills:Minimum of 2 years of application/front-end development experience.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Knowledge of microservices architecture.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Understanding of security best practices.Security Clearance Statement:
