Summary:This position is an integral of the Gift Administration and Data Strategy team and its contact management system. In this database-focused role, the individual will be tasked with execution of high-level data projects in order to meet the needs of the larger Foundation team, especially during the large fundraising campaign over the next several years. Projects will be complex in nature, require application of knowledge and comfort within Raiser's Edge or a similar database, and necessitate the ability to manage and communicate progress on multiple projects in different stages. Over time, this role will be expected to identify opportunities and develop data-driven solutions, deploy quality control protocols, and will serve as point of contact for various team members for respective data- and database-focused projects. Direct work products will inform strategic decisions throughout Foundation teams, as well as the direction of system tools and resources.
Responsibilities:* Collaborate on the creation and implementation of new database-related initiatives* Test and implement new options or solutions that will improve efficiencies and optimal use of central record system* Collaborate with Director of Gift Administration and Data Strategy to audit system coding and tools* Responsible for regularly scheduled account maintenance and reconciliation of data* Collaborate with Director of Gift administration and Data Strategy to create and update data management documentation* Independently manage large-scale database projects with guidance from Director of Gift Administration and Data Strategy* Synthesize and summarize finding for Director that will inform strategic decisions* Assist with ad hoc reporting needs, both internal and external to the Foundation* Learn principles and processes of gift entry to be able to assist with larger Gift Administration team as needed
WORK EXPERIENCE* At least 2 years related experience with Raiser's Edge or similar donor/CRM database Required* At least 2 years related experience working in a fundraising environment. Preferred* At least 5 years related experience with Raiser's Edge or similar donor/CRM databases Preferred
EDUCATION* Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Required
