Sr. MicroStrategy Administrator
Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid) - No Remote hiring
Responsibilities:
Capacity planning & monitoring, performance tuning for MicroStrategy infrastructure.Defining and implementing the procedures for migration of MicroStrategy application and configuration objects from QA to production.Perform MicroStrategy security and administration for all internal and external users including the creation / modification of MicroStrategy roles, LDAP groups, and user interface portals.Handle the implementation, testing, and documentation of new and updated MicroStrategy reporting/Configuration packages to be moved into staging / production environment.Implement patches and other day-to-day MicroStrategy content administration tasks including creating folders/reports/users and migrating reports/folders/users from Dev to QA to Production.Support all MicroStrategy configuration requirements including working with DBAs to set up and test new data sources used by MicroStrategy, creating new MicroStrategy security roles, and setting up new user security and reporting interfaces for users.Support developers by troubleshooting reporting issues related to MicroStrategy configurations and/or cubes/reports/dashboards.Set up monitoring and alerts notifications for key performance indicators for the MicroStrategy infrastructure.•
Our team is looking to add someone who has experience migrating to MicroStrategy Cloud.
Required:Hands on experience on Installation, configuration and deployment of MicroStrategy tool and clients.Conversant with the tools in MicroStrategy suite e.g. Developer, Command Manager, Architect, Object Manager, License ManagerExperience in Capacity sizing/Planning of MicroStrategy infrastructure componentsHands on experience on Linux/UNIX operating systems.Experience in SQL troubleshooting, report failures, project and Intelligence server level governing settings and their impacts.Hands on experience on Report and Dashboard developmentHands on experience on MicroStrategy SDK environmentExperience migrating to MicroStrategy Cloud.Life at Sogeti -
