We are looking for an experienced CNC Milling machinist to join our team. Being in business for 40 years, we want nothing but our best to leave the facility. We offer the following benefits after 60 days of employment: health, dental, vision, paid holidays and birthdays as well as 1 earned paid day per quarter for timeliness. After one full year of service we offer 40 hours paid vacation as well as a 401K that is matched.
Compensation $26-$40.00 an hour depending on experience.
Duties to include but not limited to:
Program, set-up and run various machine tools on a CNC mill
Ensure all parts produced meet specs of print using proper measurement tools
Ability to work within very close tolerances
Read and follow drawings & job tickets
Perform routine machine maintenance
Load and indicate part to fixture
Monitor tool wear, load tools and inserts as required
Required knowledge, skills and abilities
Candidate will possess strong communication skills
Have excellent work ethic; working overtime and Saturdays if the need arises
Have the ability to stand for long hours, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet time deadlines
Must be able to read and understand drawings and handle measuring equipment
MUST have knowledge of CNC milling machines
Experience
3-5 years as a CNC machinist Experience handling large, heavy parts as well as smaller components
