CNC Press Brake Operator

Immediate need for this position!We are looking for a CNC Press Brake Operator to join our ever-growing facility. The press brake operator operates a press brake machine to bend or form metals to meet customer specifications and production requirements following engineering documents. Other duties include operation of production CNC laser machine.Responsibilities to include; but not limited to:Layout and load materials using measuring toolsPerform part inspections and quality checksCommunicate any issue that may prevent production flowMaintain clean work areaRequired Skills:Ability to read and understand blueprintsKnowledge of basic mathUnderstanding of finished part characteristicsPhysical Demands:Dexterous with use of hands to grasp and pull materialFrequent lifting up to 80 lbs.Ability to stand for extended periodsEducation and Qualifications :5+ years manufacturing experienceExperience with metal fabrication and CNC controlled press brake is requiredMust understand bend allowances and be able to perform flat sheet metal layouts based on customer supplied printsMay include other duties as neededMust be available for overtime 40-52 hrs a weekRequired experience:manufacturing: 5 yearsPress Brake Operator: 3 years
