Embedded Systems Engineer - HDL , Linux
Summary
We are seeking a skilled Embedded System Engineer. In this role, you will design and develop active RF systems for our cutting-edge products. You will be expected to develop software, firmware, or gateware within small, multidisciplinary teams. This will require you to strive for a system-level understanding of all design tasks and eventually you will be expected to contribute to system-level design decisions and internal tooling. You will also be expected to learn and development new skillsets with guidance from mentors and peers.
Required Education and Experience
Must have US citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security ClearanceBachelor's degree in electrical engineering (master's degree preferred) or equivalentProficiency reading electrical schematicsProficiency in a technical programming language such as PythonProficiency with common test equipment including multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzersThe one or both of the following skillsets:
Linux
Experience with Linux user-space and kernel driver developmentProficiency with embedded Linux build systemsInterest in learning HDL and a strong hardware backgroundHDL
Strong HDL skillset with experience implementing DSP blocks and common serial interfaces (PCIe, SPI, I2C, AXI, Wishbone, Aurora, JESD)Proficient understanding of signal processing fundamentalsInterest in learning Linux user-space and kernel driver developmentPreferred Education and Experience
Yocto, PentalinuxXilinx, RFSoc, ZynqExperience with RF test equipment including phase noise analyzer, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, and power meters
