Summary of the Position
We are seeking a skilled Senior Embedded Systems Engineer. In this role, you will design and develop active RF systems for our cutting-edge products by leading projects with small, multidisciplinary teams. You will interface directly with customers to present technical material and define system requirements, then guide your team to design and manufacture products that meet expected system-level performance, cost, and delivery timelines. You will also be expected to lead and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and expertise to support their professional development.
Required Education and ExperienceMust have US citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security ClearanceBachelor's degree in electrical engineering (master's degree preferred) or equivalentExperience architecting, developing, and deployment of embedded products from inception to manufacturingExperience with designing and troubleshooting mixed signal hardwareExperience with embedded firmware development with RTOS or embedded linuxProficient understanding of signal processing fundamentalsProficiency in a technical programming language such as PythonProficiency with common test equipment including multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzersStrong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to customers, peers, and managementUp to date with advancements in embedded technology and industry trends, and incorporate relevant innovations into our design processesPreferred Education and Experience

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office and laboratory. This role routinely uses laboratory equipment such as vector network analyzers, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week. Typical office hours include Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, however these hours will vary based on workload and the manager's discretion. This job may require more than 40 hours of work per week as the need arises.

While performing the duties of this job, you will be regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift lab equipment, open cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
