Description
Ceshker Group Title is a title office with its principal office located in Austin, TX. We are looking for a committed, long-term Escrow Assistant to join our team. We require two years of recent experience in Texas as an Escrow Assistant or Junior Escrow Officer at a law firm or title office. This role requires full-time work, Monday through Friday with some overtime required. This is not a remote position. The salary range is commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
•Some knowledge of the front, middle, and back end of escrow•Complete funding tasks such as ensuring all funds are disbursed accurately•Comply with all state and federal laws governing escrow transactions and escrow accounts•Prepare and send out closing packages to buyers, sellers, brokers, attorneys, and lenders•Adhere to all terms and conditions of the purchase agreement and monitor the progress of all assigned files•Interact and coordinate with industry contacts such as realtors, loan officers, underwriters, brokers, buyers, and sellers•Ensure all terms and conditions of the assigned closing tasks are being completed timely and accurately
Qualifications
•High school diploma required - prior relevant experience or college degree preferred•At least two years of experience with residential sales, REO, refinance, short sale escrow, or commercial closings•Excellent verbal and written communication abilities•Thorough understanding of title insurance and the associated processes•Should be familiar with title commitments, mortgages, and real estate contracts
