Job Summary: We are seeking a mid-level Configuration/Data Management Specialist to join our team. The Configuration/Data Manager will work alongside program managers and engineers to process hardware and software changes, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of drawings, schematics, software, and documentation. The ideal candidate will interpret and apply policies, processes, procedures, and technical data standards while maintaining awareness for continuous improvement opportunities. Responsibilities: Manage the Bill of Materials (BOM), including part categories, drawing types, change orders, and document control processes. Review and process part/product changes efficiently, accurately, and consistently. Drive process improvement initiatives to streamline and standardize CM status accounting and procedural implementation. Analyze change impact on in-process and on-hand material. Conduct part entry and updates. Process technical/non-technical changes in alignment with the configuration change control process. Review and analyze program data deliveries for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Facilitate Change Control Boards; review change proposals in a group or virtual setting, and manage open items to closure. Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Communicate regularly cross-functionally to ensure requirements, milestones, and deadlines are met. Handle highly regulated, classified, or sensitive data. Prepare for and support functional and physical configuration audits. Perform general data-entry and other administrative tasks as needed. Experience and Skills: 5 years of experience in Configuration Data Management or a related field. Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience. Familiarity with CAD applications and software library tools (e.g., Solidwork, AutoCAD). Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Understanding of the fundamental principles of EIA-649 and AS 9100. Proficiency in CM tools/platforms such as Windchill, iPDM, ERP, or equivalent. Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and adaptability. Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment. Must be able to join meetings via web-cam as required. Desired Qualifications: Experience working with DoD civilian, uniformed military, and contractor personnel. Flexibility to adapt to dynamic project requirements and deadlines. Strong analytical problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Organized and process-oriented mindset. Travel: No regular travel is expected for this position; however, occasional travel may be required based on project needs.
