summary Basic Function Fabricating parts for the prototype department. 1. Responsible for processing parts according to customer requirements. 2. Understand metal forming processes. 3. Understand various types of press brake set up's. 4. Work with Quality Control, Laser and Press departments. 5. Understand how to read material technical data and drawings to determine material types, tools and gages needed. 6. Understands check concepts and inspects parts according to customer specs. 7. Accurately count and record production activity. 8. Use calipers, micrometers and height gages to perform accurate measurements per specific print and drawing tolerances. 9. Identify and communicate to management quality issues as they arise. 10. Interprets and follows supervisor's report including priorities and start dates. 11. Understands and demonstrates the 6 core behavioral expectations: Communicative, Motivated, Dependable, Inquisitive, and Accountable. Experience Prior Fabrication and Machining experience. Skills Have solid understanding of metal fab concepts and process Must possess own tools Must possess the ability to use height gage and calipers, hand tools and press brake Must be able to interpret blue prints Must be able to regularly lift and move parts that may be heavy parts Great attention to detail and tolerance Should be honest, respectful and trustworthy Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills required-skills:
