Position Overview:
GPFS is seeking a talented and motivated Business Intelligence Manager to join our organization.
This position is part of a growing team at GPFS which centers around Data Services for Private Market clients.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Business Intelligence strategies that address key challenges in data modeling, transformation, and analytics. Your role will focus on ensuring data quality, consistency, and the effective use of analytics tools to deliver insights. In addition to collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and affiliated companies, you will play a crucial role in maintaining best practices in BI and staying up to date with industry trends to drive continuous improvement and support strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities:BI Strategy and Implementation : Develop and execute the business intelligence strategy. Oversee and implement best practices for data analysis and reporting.Data Collection and Integration : Oversee the collection, integration, and storage of large data sets from various sources. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility for analysis and reporting purposes.Data Analysis and Reporting : Create and manage reporting tools that provide actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders by identifying trends, patterns, and insights.Data Warehousing : Manage the development and maintenance of data warehouses, ensuring that data is organized efficiently for easy retrieval and analysis. Collaborate with IT and other teams to optimize data storage solutions.Team Leadership : Provide guidance, training, and support to enhance team performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement.Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions. Facilitate effective communication to ensure alignment with business objectives.Data Quality and Governance : Implement data quality controls and governance policies to maintain data integrity. Establish data standards and validation processes to ensure reliable and accurate reporting.Performance Monitoring : Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance. Use these metrics to provide insights and recommendations for improving business outcomes.Innovation and Continuous Improvement : Stay updated on industry trends and emerging BI technologies. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance data services.Security and Compliance : Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. Implement measures to protect sensitive data and manage access controls.Cross-Team Collaboration : Coordinate closely with affiliated teams to align on shared goals, streamline workflows, and develop joint BI initiatives that enhance data insights and drive business outcomes.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.A master's degree is a plus.7+ Years of Business Intelligence experience3+ years experience leading a teamAdditional Eligibility Qualifications
Proven experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field, preferably within the finance or private market sector.Strong proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python) and data modeling techniques.Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.Strong leadership skills, with experience managing a team of data professionals.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Knowledge of data governance, data quality standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience with Snowflake
