Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator & Programmer to join our team. This role involves operating and programming CNC saws used in the fabrication of natural stone products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CNC equipment, a deep understanding of programming, and a passion for precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:Operate and maintain multiple CNC saws for the fabrication of natural stone products.Write and modify CNC programs to optimize cutting processes and ensure high-quality results.Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders to determine machine settings and adjustments.Set up CNC machines by installing and aligning workpieces and cutting tools.Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications and tolerances.Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed.Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely completion of projects.Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with company standards.Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CNC machine operator, preferably in stone fabrication or a similar industry.Proficiency in CNC programming and operating various types of CNC saws.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of safety standards and procedures related to CNC operation.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or CNC-related coursework is a plus.2+ years of experience operating and programming CNC machines in a production environment, preferably with stone fabrication.Benefits:
