Job SummaryThis role is a critical member of the IT - Epic Systems Support Team, responsible for serving as the primary support contact for specific Epic applications. The position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth transition and ongoing optimization of the Epic system. Through collaboration with various clinical departments and stakeholders, this individual will help align the Epic system with the organization's business needs, leveraging a blend of operational experience, project management, and technical skills.*** This is an on site position in Daytona Beach ***Job QualificationsEducation:Bachelors degree in a relevant field (Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, etc.) preferred.Experience:Epic certification in OpTime or relevant modules Current upon hire.3+ years of experience with Epic EMR implementation, configuration, and optimization.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.IT team lead experience preferred.Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare environment.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Lead the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system, focusing on ambulatory, orders, and workflows.Oversee workflow design, system build, testing, and address technical challenges related to Epic software.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Epic applications.Provide training, support, and troubleshooting for the Epic system and its applications.Assist with other IT applications and participate in the on-call rotation.Act as a liaison between end-users, Epic implementation staff, and business stakeholders to ensure system functionality aligns with business requirements.Participate in system upgrades, testing, and modifications as per organizational requirements.Maintain ongoing communication with Epic representatives and actively engage in project team meetings.Prepare reports to analyze how system changes may affect other areas or programs.Mentor junior analysts and share best practices within the team.
