Lead Mechanical Assembler/Fabricator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, building, and creating custom fabricated parts for our systems and products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects and contribute to the continued rapid growth of the company.

Responsibilities
- Assemble pre-made parts to complete assemblies
- Read and interpret shop drawings
- Work with engineers on creating prototypes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Maintain documentation for processes
- Have a keen eye for detail and quality assurance
- Participate in a team working environment

Skills
- Proficient with all hand-held tools, including drills, drivers, jigsaws, portable bandsaws, grinders
- Well practiced with a variety of raw materials including aluminum, steel, and plastics
- Good working knowledge of drill presses and vertical mills
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices
- Knowledge of motors, belts, pulley systems

Job Requirements

Qualifications
- At least five years of experience in fabrication
- Ability to read shop and engineer drawings
- Ability to adhere to a timeline
- Effectively communicate with fellow team members and leadership
- Ability to work as a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
