Pay: $19.58/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday 3:30pm-11:00pm

What’s a typical day as a Machine Operator? You’ll be:
• Processing products to specifications, including cleaning, weighing/counting, and following provided schedules
• Loading/unloading and operating lap machines, making necessary adjustments
• Maintaining oil levels, cut rates, pressures, and feed speeds
• Pumping tanks and changing lap slurries
• Performing in-process inspections, including ball checks and other dimensional measurements
• Reporting processing information clearly and accurately on routers and process log sheets
• Performing assigned repairs and preventive maintenance
• Assuring applicable inspection equipment is calibrated before use
• Plotting results on control charts when required
• Maintaining items in the Tooling Control Program
• Maintaining cleaning media and equipment
• Identifying, segregating, and initiating Discrepancy Reports for nonconforming products
• Contacting supervision immediately to report equipment problems
• Ensuring lot traceability
• Participating in cross-training
• Reading new and revised specifications when mandated
• Performing any and all tasks assigned by Supervisor/Management
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have previous experience in the manufacturing process
• Are able to sit, stand, lean forward, and turn side to side for extended periods of time throughout the day
• Are able to transport products from one area to another
• Are able to use hand carts for pushing and hoists for pulling
• Are able to walk, push, carry, or lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs occasionally
• Have a strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
