Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $18/hour
1st Shift Schedule:
Fri/Sat/Sun working 36 hours but paid for 40 hours
Fri 2p-2a/ Sat 10a-10p/ Sun 9a-9p

What’s a typical day as a Machine Operator - Powder Coating? You’ll be:
• Operating automated powder coating equipment
• Loading and unloading parts from overhead conveyer
• Monitoring parts going through the line to ensure proper processes
• Touching up parts in the powder coating booth as necessary
• Maintaining wash/coating system tank concentrations and pH
• Pulling wastewater samples and checking pH levels
• Ensuring proper adhesion and coverage of powder coating on surfaces
• Completing parts to meet production demands
• Reading and interpreting build specifications and quality requirements
• Inspecting parts for defects
• Performing quality checks
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Following company policies, plant rules, and safety regulations
• Assisting coworkers as needed
• Communicating effectively with coworkers and supervisors
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess basic math skills for measuring and mixing coatings accurately
• Are familiar with precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes
• Have experience in finishing or transferrable manufacturing experience
• Can read assembly drawings and follow directions
• Have the ability to use hand tools and handle intricate parts
• Have strong attention to detail
