Sleep Medicine Advanced Clinical Practitioner

The Corvallis Clinic is actively recruiting a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our sleep medicine department. The Clinic has a long-standing history of delivering exceptional care to the residents of the Mid-Willamette Valley.

DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

• Full-time position; Monday thru Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• Team includes 2 physicians and 5 advanced clinical practitioners.
• Advanced clinical practitioners together with department physicians to evaluate patients, order testing, develop and oversee treatment plans.
• Common diagnoses include sleep apnea, narcolepsy, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, and snoring.
• Extended on-boarding and training by department colleagues.
• Outpatient-only setting; No call or weekend requirements.
• Primary practice location in Corvallis. Some travel may be required to support potential secondary practice locations in local communities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• AANC or AANP certified family nurse practitioner or NCCPA certified physician assistant.
• Ability to become confident and competent using sleep-related durable medical equipment.
• Experience using multiple interventional strategies and opportunities to assist patients with symptom management.
• Primary care experience preferred.
• New graduates considered.
