TheSection of OtolaryngologyatDartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Centerin Lebanon, New Hampshire is seeking ahighly motivatedPhysician AssistantorAdvanced Practice Nurse,preferably with experience or advanced training in Otolaryngology. Working with the Otolaryngology faculty, the Advanced Practice Provider will be involved inprimarily head and neck oncology carein the outpatient clinic, inpatient ward, and as needed in the operating room. Responsibilities will include providing care and education to patients with various otolaryngologic conditions in coordination with the attending physicians, performing various procedures in the office setting, assisting with surgical procedures, assisting with inpatient and emergency room consultations, and managing otolaryngology inpatients with the resident team.Experience in office-based procedures (flexible laryngoscopy, nasal endoscopy, otomicroscopy and other ear procedures, biopsies) as well as basic suturing and first assisting skills is desired. This is afull-time day shift positionwith some flexibility for a four-day work week if desired.The ideal candidate should have interest in teaching, as educational responsibilities will include the training of PA residents as part of an established Otolaryngology PA residency program.
