We are a new college preparatory elementary and middle school serving the students of Jackson, MS.
Responsibilities and Duties
Roles and Responsibilities:
Serve as a point of contact for inquiries to the Executive Director from varied audiencesCoordinate internal and external events such as recruitment and marketing eventsAssist in the preparation and distribution of meeting materials, presentations, and agendas on behalf of the Ambition Prep Executive Director and Board of directors;Draft and send correspondence on behalf of the Executive Director in coordination with the School's Information as appropriate;Maintain executive files, reports, and contact information and track due dates related to correspondence, reports, compliance, and other information;Assist in the preparation and planning of materials for Board Meetings, Committee Meetings, Onboarding, and Professional Development, as well as other special eventsSupport the operations team with the management of social media and organizational-wide communicationsReview policies and implementation of policies throughout the schoolAnswer calls, schedule appointments, conference calls, videoconferences as needed and, maintain the school's calendar, and assist with project trackingInventory and purchase supplies and technology resources as neededWork with the Business Coordinator in the report finalization processes for renewal, new applications, ongoing academic performance evaluations, and ongoing site visit reports.Provide general office support in the areas of parent communication letters and distribution, electronic filing, data entry, copying, scanning, phone coverage, etc.Answer calls, schedule appointments, conference calls, videoconferences on behalf of the school leadership team and maintain the school's calendar and assist with project trackingAssist the Executive Director in ensuring open lines of communication with partners and stakeholders, identifying new and ongoing opportunities for collaboration and engagement, and as needed, represent Ambition Prep's interest at external meetingsPerform other job-related duties as assignedDesired and Required Characteristics
