FORUM Credit Union is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Mortgage Advisor to join our team. As a Mortgage Advisor, you'll be responsible for providing mortgage solutions to both our existing FORUM members and new referrals from realtors, builders, CPAs, and financial planners. You'll focus on residential mortgage pre-approvals, purchase loans, construction loans, and refinance of current loans.Responsibilities:Daily responsibilities consist of:Originate residential mortgage loans for FORUM membersConduct mortgage application interviews through various established contacts and/or inquiries from FORUM membersDevelop and maintain relationships within the real estate industry and other sources to generate additional mortgage loansEnsure all client interactions comply with Federal and state regulationsStay updated on lending guidelines and industry changesProvide exceptional service by pre-qualifying applicants, counseling on mortgage products, and ensuring a smooth mortgage process and closingMeet or exceed origination goals and objectivesYou may enjoy this job if:You accepts responsibility with a high level of ownership and commitment to achieve resultsYou focus on the thoroughness and accuracy of workYou understand and anticipate the internal and external customer business needs and acts accordingly, providing high priority to customer/member satisfaction and serviceYou express ideas effectively through multiple channels, clearly conveying an understanding of the needs of different audiencesYou have the ability to build relationships with internal and external partners, business owners, members and colleaguesYou consistently produce accurate, thorough and complete work within defined timelinesYou deliver the highest level of confidentiality, discretion and integrity in all aspects of work responsibilities
