Job Summary:

Provide a safe and secure environment for guests and team members while patrolling the casino floor and property in accordance with company and department policies, practices and procedures.

Essential Job Functions:Warn or expel violators of rule infractions, such as loitering or carrying forbidden articlesApprehend persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts and turn over to law enforcementWatch for and report irregularitiesObserve departing team members to guard against theft of company propertyControl entrance and access to secured and restricted areas to authorized personnel onlyCheck identification of guests for age requirement for gaming and alcohol purposes;Ensure badges are issued for visitors, vendors and contractorsIssue name tags as necessary to team membersMonitor and assist in the enforcement of casino policies and federal, state and local lawsPrepare reports on incidents, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, criminal activities, suspicious circumstances, injuriesAssist in preliminary investigations.Assist local law enforcement as requestedReport and document Gaming Control Board violations, company policies and procedures violations.Escort, protect and secure monies during all transfers on and off Casino grounds, including fills on table games, table and machine box fills, between the cage and count roomRespond to emergency alarms associated with fire, presence of unauthorized persons and/or critical incidentsCall the ControlCenter, notify proper authorities, secure and control all company assetsMaintain a visible and accessible profile among casino guests and team members to create a sense of security to deter potential problems and to answer questionsRespond and resolve guest inquiries in a timely mannerPerform customer service continuouslyPerform CPR and First Aid if trainedPractice QSVP while performing job duties and responsibilitiesAll other duties that may be assignedRequirements

Work Environment:

Must be willing to work any shift when necessary, including weekends and holidaysMust be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smokeMust be able to work outdoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as dust, extreme heat, and extreme coldMust be willing to work in potentially dangerous situationsJob Requirements:

Must possess a CCW (Concealed Carry Firearm Permit) or a current Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act cardMust possess company approved weaponMust possess company approved level III bulletproof vestMust be able to speak, read, write and understand EnglishMust be able to work in a fast paced environmentMust be able to exercise good judgment in handling a variety of situationsMust possess interpersonal skills with focused attention to guest needsMust be assertive in handling conflictsMust possess tact and diplomacy in dealing with the public and staffMust possess the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified informationMust be able to calmly and forcefully handle situations involving aggressive people Must have High School Diploma or equivalentMust have Gaming Registration or ability to obtain sameMust have Alcohol Awareness Card or ability to obtain sameMust be able to obtain Weapon Qualification CardMust be CPR certifiedPrevious experience required; at least six monthsMust be at least 21 years of ageMust maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearancePrior guest service experience, preferably in a casino setting is requiredPrior experience in law enforcement, casino/hotel security, or industrial security is preferredKnowledge of general first aid preferredMust have familiarity with federal, state and local laws pertaining to law enforcement and gamingPhysical Requirements:

Must be able to access all areas of the casinoMust be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbsMust be able to push and/or pull up to 200 lbsMust be able to stand or walk for prolonged periods of timeMust be able to run after and apprehend perpetratorsMust be able to physically subdue and possibly handcuff perpetratorsMust be able to bend from waist, crouch, stretch, kneel, climb, twist and crawl without restrictionsMust have manual dexterity in hands and fingers
