The Used Car Manager oversees all aspects of the used car department, including vehicle inventory management, appraisals, reconditioning, pricing strategies, and sales team performance. This role requires a results-driven leader who can optimize the department's profitability while ensuring an outstanding customer experience. The Used Car Manager will work closely with other department heads to ensure seamless operations and drive success for HoneyCar.Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:Oversee the acquisition and management of used car inventory.Appraise trade-ins and ensure accurate pricing and valuation for inventory.Ensure the right mix of vehicles are stocked to meet market demand.Monitor and control inventory levels to optimize turnover and profitability.

Sales Performance:Lead, coach, and motivate the used car sales team to meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.Develop and implement sales strategies and processes to maximize gross profits.Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to improve performance.Set pricing policies based on market trends, inventory age, and competitor analysis.

Reconditioning:Coordinate with the service department to ensure timely and cost-effective reconditioning of used vehicles.Monitor quality standards and ensure vehicles are prepared for sale at the highest standards.

Customer Satisfaction:Foster a positive and transparent buying experience for customers, promoting HoneyCar's customer-centric philosophy.Handle escalated customer concerns promptly and professionally.

Compliance and Reporting:Ensure compliance with all dealership policies, procedures, and industry regulations.Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and other relevant metrics.Prepare reports for management on used car department performance.

Qualifications:Proven experience as a Used Car Manager, Sales Manager, or in a similar leadership role in the automotive industry.Strong understanding of the used car market, inventory management, and sales strategies.Ability to appraise vehicles accurately and manage pricing and reconditioning processes.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Results-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficient in CRM and dealership management software.Benefits:Competitive salary and bonus structureHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holiday benefitsOpportunities for professional development and growth within HoneyCarSchedule
